Songwriter and musician Steve Lennox hails from a long line of South Australian lighthouse keepers. In his new album In The Lighter Dark, he threads together the stories of his ancestors who lived at the edge of the world. Steve and his band The Keepers will bring these stories to life at the museum—playing from the deck of ketch Active II against the backdrop of family snapshots projected onto its sails.
2021 winner of South Australia’s Best Roots Album, In The Lighter Dark is evocative storytelling infused with prose, hooky rhythms and striking melodies.
