Calling all schools, home schools, and community groups.
We’ve cleaned out our storage spaces and have old (non-collection items) props and ex-museum displays available for free. A photo gallery of the items available can be viewed below.
If you are interested in any of the items, please email maritime@history.sa.gov.au and state which image number/s you would like collect. Click the icon button (bottom right of each image) to view the item number.
By arrangement with the SA Maritime Museum, items must be collected anytime between 10am – 4pm each day
All items must be collected from the SA Maritime Administration Building, 119 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide by Wednesday 8 April 2026.
There will be no holds, pick up only, first in, first served and no returns.
All items were formally used in the museum as either exhibition, educational displays or props. None of the items are objects from the State History Collection.
