Day at the Port

A self-guided maritime experience for students in Pre-school to Year 3, which can be adapted to include a range of learning areas including: conservation, transport, history, exploration or migration.

Suitability:  Pre-school- year 3

Cost:
$5 per student (without a Port River cruise)
$7.50 per student (with a Port River cruise)

Availability: Monday-Friday

Program includes:

  • ½ hour cruise on Archie Badenoch (optional)
  • Visit to the Port Adelaide lighthouse
  • Self guided time to explore the museum exhibits
  • Ketch demonstration (subject to availability)
  • Play session in the Rockpool
