Port Adelaide Lighthouse

Permanent exhibition

Open from 10am to 2pm on weekdays and 10am to 2pm on Sundays. The Lighthouse is closed Saturdays.

Adelaide’s iron lighthouse was first lit in 1869 to mark the entrance to the Port River and is now open for visitors to climb to the lantern room.

Mosquito Fleet

It was one of the last fleets of commercial sail in Australia. The small ketches and schooners worked the coast from the 1850s to the 1970s.
