Come aboard if you dare and enter the world of piracy with Pirates! Skulduggery at the Maritime Museum these summer holidays. The exhibition explores both the fantasies and facts surrounding pirates. It’s a hands-on interactive experience for the young, and young at heart.

Our tour will lead you through the landing and decontamination area, bathrooms, isolation hospital and morgue. The Quarantine Station is remarkably intact and evokes the experiences of passengers who almost reached Adelaide.

Dig it! Build it! Find it! Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty this school holidays! You can ‘dig’ around to uncover lost relics from an unknown past with the help of an Archaeologist, ‘build’ a picture of maritime life by piecing together remnants of artefacts and ‘find’ yourway around the museum to earn a reward. So dust off your explorer’s kit and get ready for adventure!
