TORRENS ISLAND QUARANTINE STATION TOURS
Built in 1879 to stop disease coming into the country, the Quarantine Station on Torrens Island can tell you a tale or two about the final leg of a migrant's journey to South Australia. Our guided tour will lead you through the landing and decontamination area, the isolation hospital and morgue. This site is only accessible by the Maritime Museum’s bus tour.
Check in at the Museum at 9:45am, tours depart at 10:00am.
ST YELTA CRUISES
ST Yelta is South Australia’s last working steam tug, built for the Adelaide Steamship Company in 1949. Experience the age of steam with a two hour sail along the Port River.
Check in at the Lighthouse with Museum Staff by 12:15pm.
ST Yelta cruises at 12:45pm sharp!
No Passengers Under 5 years of age please. Enclosed footwear MUST be worn for both activities.
